Polynesian Pilgrim

One of my favorite ways create new drink recipes is to invite a challenge from friends. The Polynesian Pilgrim began as a prompt for an annual Friendsgiving celebration: “Can you do a Mai Tai but make it Thanksgiving?” The result is a tart and tangy drink that welcomes the addition of autumnal flavors and colors that complement the traditional Mai Tai concept.

Ingredients

  • White rum

  • Dry orange curaçao

  • Black rum

  • Orgeat

  • 100% cranberry juice

  • Lime

  • Blood orange

  • Fresh sage

  • Whole cranberries
